Visiting relatives. We met at the Ryles for a meal. Despite a power cut early in the evening, the staff ensured everyone booked into the restaurant was fed. Staff were fantastic in what were very trying circumstances for them. They remained cheerful throughout and can only be commended for doing their utmost in such a difficult situation. Well done to all. Customers were understanding and the atmosphere was lovely. Read less

Very friendly and efficient staff with excellent breakfast to set us up for the day. Good sized room with comfortable beds. Clean and tidy.
Dislikes:
Shower was cool and the heating inadequate for the size of room. Wash handbasin too small.

The situation- surrounded by fields and as a result very quiet.
The decor of the lovely old pub and the rooms.
The excellent quality and choice of the evening meal
and at reasonable prices
Dislikes:
Nothing - by far the best pub in which we have stayed on our travels

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Loved the seating area at the back looking over the countryside and plenty of parking space. The rooms are across the courtyard, not attached so nice and quite.
Dislikes:
Nothing to complain about, we intend to return.

Had two evening meals during our stay, good pub food at a fair price. Wine prices very reasonable. Room was a over priced
Dislikes:
Ensuite not very clean, lot of dust has turned to grim. No tea towel/washing up liquid/ utensils bearing in mind room had kitchenette. No wifi in rooms only in the pub this should be made clear.

Lovely warm welcome from the staff, who couldn't do enough for us. Nice food, busy restauruant clearly a hit locally. Very comfy bed, nice clean room.
